Storm Mountain Center will not be offering a cross-state bus for campers this summer. Instead, campers and parents can contact the camp to organize ride-sharing to, and from, camps at Storm Mountain Center.

For many years a bus was available for campers to travel across the east side of South Dakota to the camp. There has been a slow and steady decline in campers using the bus. Providing bus transportation became unsustainable.

“We want to give people as much advance notice as possible. We will be happy to provide direction towards resources to help get people to camp,” said Lara and Levi Ziegler, who direct camps at Storm Mountain Center.
