In this Christmas greeting for 2021, Bishop Laurie Haller asks us if we are, as Mary was when the angel Gabriel asked, ready for the Lord's will. Where are the mysterious angels speaking to us in today's world? How is God calling out to us through refugees, injustice, the lonely, and the lost right in our own communities? At first we might be perplexed, even overwhelmed, like Mary was. But as we grow in love of God and neighbor, how will we respond? In Luke 1 Mary eventually responded, "Here am I, Lord; let it be with me according to your word."
