Char Ough presents Faith in Action
Char Ough, wife of Bishop Bruce R. Ough , will be the keynote speaker at Sioux Falls First UMC, Women's Day, on March 28, 2014. Ough will present "Faith in Action," reaching out to the mission field where ever you are.
Women of all ages are invited. The event will be from 10 am until approximately 3:00 pm. at Sioux Falls First United Methodist Church, 401 South Spring Ave., Sious Falls, South Dakota. Tickets are only $10 and include morning snacks and a pasta bar for lunch.
The day is all about estabishing your own GPS: Gifts – Prayer – Service.
Gift–-There will be a ministry vendor fair. Learn about how others have used their gifts in developing volunteer programs for missions. A featured hands-on mission projects will be available.
Prayer–Ough will call participants to pray about putting our faith into action. Everyone will have the opportunity to share in communion and make a personal commitment to engage in service to others.
Service–Particiants will be incouragned to go forth to serve using our own talents and gifts for active mission.
Free childcare will be available. Please call the church at 605-336-3652 regarding child care needs by March 25.
