SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA -- Volunteers flooded Sioux Falls First UMC on Saturday, September 21, 2013 to make Dakotas Market Place a success. Over 6 volunteers from nine area churches provided manpower to make the mission event happen.
An estimated $121, 000 cash value was collected at the annual Dakota Marketplace bazaar with live and silent auctions. The Market place also included breakfast and lunch items along with a pie bake sale.
One- half of the proceeds from the Dakota Marketplace will go to fight hunger locally and globally.
The Dakotas Marketplace is just one of the fall mission events held throughout the Dakotas Conference.
