Dorothy Grinager Lindbloom, 93, of Dow Rummel Village, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, died at Sandford Ava's House Hospice. Dorothy was the wife of Rev. Lloyd Grinager, deceased, the mother of Rev. Eric Gringer, Rapid City Canyon Lake UMC, Rev. Howard Grinager, retired, and the grandmother of Rev. Rebecca Trefz, executive director of ministries.

Dorothy was in ministry most of her life. First, beside her husband Lloyd at: Harrisburg, Sioux Falls Asbury, Milbank, Pierre,  Western District Superintendent, Yankton, Dakotas United Methodist Foundation and Sioux Falls Wesley.  After Lloyd’s death in 1987, Dorothy served as a parish visitor at Sioux Falls Wesley United Methodist Church. She was active in missions spending time working at the McKirdy Mission School and serving on the national board of The United Methodist Women.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Holladay-Peterson Chapel at Dow Rummel in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Visitation will be Friday, April 20, 2018, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 4800 S. Minnesota Ave. (57th and Minnesota), Sioux Falls.
