Empowered by the Spirit Romans 5:1-2

Have you ever done something wrong and then felt so guilty about it that you didn’t want to be around people who knew what you had done?

I remember times when I disobeyed my parents and then was ashamed to face them! But every time, they forgave me and said they still loved me and wanted me to be their child.

That’s sort of what happens when we become followers of Jesus. We know that we aren’t perfect, but God tells us that we are still loved. And then God’s Spirit comes and empowers us to overcome any fears or guilt we have and to celebrate being a child of God!
