2016 Pension Transition Grants Applications

The Board of Pensions is making available Pension Transition Grants for 2016. The purpose of the grants is to help churches that saw an increase in apportionment and direct bill costs as a result of the change in apportionment method in 2014. The maximum amount for 2016 is $2,400. The application can be found here.  Please submit your application by November 30, 2015.

Rethink Church offers Digital Advertising Grants

Rethink Church is now offering digital advertising grants to local churches across the connection to help raise awareness within their communities and drive online traffic to their websites! For churches selected to receive a grant, United Methodist Communications will create, purchase, and place ads in their areas.  Click here for details

Missional Impact Grants available until December 15

Three new Missional Impact Grants have been awarded:  $500 to Minot Vincent UMC – to increasing outreach by SOWER’s of Love, $500 to Fargo Faith UMC – enhance Food Pantry ministry, and $350 to Burke Larger Parish – growing music for greater outreach.

If you are considering a new outreach into your community or enhancing a current project, please apply for a Community Missional Impact Grant.  Grants ranging from $250 to $2000 are available to local churches and conference agencies for mission work.  Funds are ready for immediate distribution!  Click here for details
