You are invited to celebrate the ministry of Sheilah Kyburz, who will retire as the bishop's assistant for the Dakotas-Minnesota  Area of The United Methodist Church.

Sheilah Kyburz began her position as administrative assistant to the Minnesota Area in 1991, serving Bishop Sharon Brown Christopher. She continued in her role serving the Minnesota Area through the tenure of Bishop John Hopkins and Bishop Sally Dyck. For the past eight years, she  faithfully served the Dakotas-Minnesota Area with Bruce R. Ough.  She will retire at the end of March. Janet Beard will serve as her replacement.

People wishing to celebrate Sheilah Kyburz’s ministry with memories or messages can do so in multiple ways:

• Send a card to Celebrating Sheilah, Minnesota Conference of the UMC, 122 W Franklin Ave., Ste. 400, Minneapolis, MN 55404. Cards will be gathered and presented to Sheilah at a virtual celebration.
• Send an email to info@minnesotaumc.org with the subject line "Celebrating Sheilah." Messages will be gathered into a booklet of messages.
• Send a video message that will be compiled into a montage. Messages can be recorded via smart phone, computer, tablet or other device.  Previously recorded messages can be submitted. Submissions must be received by March 22.
• Help us create a word cloud by submitting five words by March 22. This word cloud will be used as part of a special gift.
