Deb Kjerstad has been named the Director of Leadership Development for the Dakotas Conference. She is gradually phasing into her new role and continues to serve as the Director of the Thrive: Strength for Today, Hope for Tomorrow capital campaign.
The Office of Leadership Development is currently seeking applicants for the Elisha Internship Project. Churches and interns who are interested need to complete the application materials by March 1, 2016. The Elisha Project is a college internship program of the Dakotas Annual Conference (DAC) of The United Methodist Church Board of Ordained Ministry to identify, encourage, and support young people who are exploring a possible call to ministry.
“We need to find ways to develop the next generation of leaders,“ said Kjerstad. “The Elisha Project is one way we can do that. We would love to have a lot of applicants.”
