The Dakotas-Minnesota Camp and Retreat ministry is a collaborative adventure between the Dakotas and Minnesota Conferences. It will be just a few short months before the 2017 camping season will be here. Here is an opportunity for all United Methodists across Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota.

KoWaKan Adventures (Lakota for “place of the Almighty”), your United Methodist wilderness outfitters, invites your youth, adult or family group to enjoy a world class canoe adventure in the pristine Boundary Waters Wilderness of northern Minnesota. 

Trained guides will take care of the equipment, permits, food, transportation, cooking and guiding so you can focus on helping your group experience Christ, Creation and Community in this stunning setting. 

Trips can be tailored to your group’s interests and budget, from day-trips run out of our lovely 40-acre lakeside base camp to multi-day expeditions deep into the wild. Expeditions start at $47/day per person including all meals, lodging, equipment, guides & transportation.
