Children or grandchildren can accompany adults and enjoy “camp on campus” at the southern site (DWU, Mitchell, SD). “Missions for Me” is a camp for elementary students who have completed grades 2-5. Campers this year will learn about Latin America. Activities will include creating craft and art projects, learning songs, participating in worship, playing outside, and making friends. Campers have their sessions while the adults are in classes, but will stay with their adult guardians in the dorm at night. Colleen McKirdy leads “Mission and Me” camp.

“Faithful Servants” camp is for youth completing any grade 6-12. Attendees are chaperoned for their stay in dorms for this “camp on campus,” and need not be accompanied by adults. Campers will learn about Latin America. While in Mitchell, they will assist in community outreach projects, such as serving at the Love Feast and helping a local church prepare backpacks sent home with school children for the week end. The youth worship together, assist at adult worship, and enjoy chaperoned off-campus fun activities planned for them. Pat Siefken and Rev. Scott McKirdy lead this camp.
