MITCHELL -- Karina Willoughby will serve the Dakotas Conference in the position of Administrative Assistant to the Director of Ministries and Dakotas Cabinet vacated by Dianne Axlund.
Karina Willoughby is originally from Amour, South Dakota. She moved to Mitchell while attending Kilian Community College in Sioux Falls, earning a degree in chemical dependency counseling. She went on to complete her bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science and Human Services at Dakota Wesleyan University in Mitchell, South Dakota.
Karina has worked as a wireless consultant for AT&T, where she was an assistant manager.
Karina lives in Mitchell with her two daughters, Courtney who is 18 and is currently a senior at Mitchell Senior High School. Gracie is eight and is in the third grade. She is a member of Holy Family Catholic Church and enjoys spending her free time with her daughters and family.
Karina is excited and honored to be part of Dakotas Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. “I am looking forward to working with so many talented individuals. This is the beginning of a journey to serve the Lord and be a part of making disciples for Jesus Christ,” Karina said.
