Jesus really has risen! When we get that, we have to tell others. We have to tell them about how it feels to be truly loved, truly seen, deeply known. We have to tell them that, even though we make many mistakes and hurt many people—including ourselves—we have an unrelenting opportunity to experience grace because of Jesus; because Jesus has made himself known to us.
When Jesus broke bread with the two disciples and they suddenly understood, they ran or hitched or hiked all the way back to Jerusalem—seven miles away, back to the place they had left just that morning.
What has God made known to you? That you are loved? That you can love? That you can laugh? That you need to risk in order to truly live? That you can grow by giving up rather than getting?
What has God made known to you? And what will your response be once you know?
