The Director of Tree of Life Ministry is looking to hire an Assistant Director for this summer.  Tree of Life is a Relief Agency and mission of the Dakotas Conference, and is located in Mission, SD. 

Free lodging and a salary are offered.  If you are interested in missions to Native Americans or future pastoral ministry, this would be a great opportunity for Internship. 

Duties would include working with the Director to insure that Volunteers in Mission have a successful and fulfilling week.  As Assistant Director you will be involved in all of the daily activities of the mission; morning devotions, assignment of VIMs to various tasks, introduction of evening cultural presenters, and working with the managers of the 4 mission programs (food pantry that distributes 29,000 pounds of food per week, hot meal program that feeds 900 free meals per week, clothing distribution, and home repairs). 

Workdays are Sunday evenings, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.  Each week 60 to 100 VIMs come to serve on the Rosebud Reservation.
