Youth at Sunnycrest United Methodist Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota gathered $1,500 and went shopping for angel tree gifts as part of an outreach project. It was an outreach effort the youth group planned and implemented on their own.

There were 39 middle school and high school students who shopped for ten children who made requests on the angel tree tags and 20 children in foster care. The effort took ten drivers, lots of discernment, and of course money. An anonymous gift of $500 was made, and the youth donated $1,000. That is a lot of cash!
