Melba (Pierce) Brown, 92, St. Joseph, formerly of Cameron, Missouri passed away on April 20, 2019. Melba is the spouse of Rev. Robert Brown, a deceased elder of the Dakotas Conference.

Together Melba and Robert served the Dakotas Conference churches of: Conde; Gregory Larger Parish; Hurley / Davis / Viborg; Aberdenn First; Claremont / Hecla; Dell Rapids / Colman; and Presho / Kennebec / Reliance. 

A funeral service was held April 26 in Cameron United Methodist Church, in Missouri. A graveside service was held in Rosehill Cemetery in Clark, South Dakota on April 29, with the Rev. Mark Tracy officiating.
