The Rev. Dr. Richard Unkenholz, Dakotas Conference elder, died Jan. 6, 2024, in Prescott, Arizona, at the age of 96. He is survived by his wife, Pat, of 72 years, who is a retired diaconal minister in the Dakotas Conference. 

Rev. Unkenholz served the Dakotas Conference at Edgeley/ Jud/ Nortonville; Valley City; Bismarck First; Jamestown First; Fargo Calvary; and Williston/ Grenora/ Bainville.
