Sympathy Rev. Gordon Higgins
Reverend Gordon Francis Higgins, 86 of Spearfish, South Dakota, died on June 24, surrounded by his family, after a years-long fight against cancer. Rev. Higgins was a retired elder of the Dakotas Conference. He was sering the United Church of Christ in Spearfish, South Dakota in retirement.
Gordon served the Dakotas Conference at: Wakonda/Irene; Watertown First; Custer-Fall River Larger Parish; Tripp County Larger Parish; Winner/Conkicakse UPC/Mniska UPC; Pierre / Blunt; Pierre First; Spearfish; Jamestown First; Hot Springs Federated; Wagner/Tyndall; and Murdo.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. mountain time, on Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at United Church of Christ in Spearfish, South Dakota.
CLERGY CHOIR: The family has requested a clergy choir. Clergy will gather at 9 a.m. mountain time, at the United Church of Christ, 920 North Main Street, Spearfish, South Dakota.
