Sympathy Rev. Lou Prohaska
Reverend Lucian "Lou" Prohaska, age 86, of Brookings, South Dakota, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He was a retired elder of the Dakotas Conference.
Rev. Porhaska served the Dakotas Conference at Edgemont/Pringle and Winner. In retirement, he enjoyed leading a number of studies at Brookings First United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at Eidsness Funeral Home with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at First United Methodist Church in Brookings, South Dakota.
