Reverend Peter Moe, age 92, died Friday, January 3, at Westhills Village in Rapid City, South Dakota. He was a retired elder of the Dakotas Conference. 

Rev. Moe was preceded in death by his wife, Grace, in 2020.

Together, Pete and Grace served the Dakotas Conference at: Artesian/Farwell; Edgemont; Rapid City Canyon Lake; USD Vermillion Wesley Foundation; Spearfish; Yankton/Gayville/Volin; Watertown First; Western District Superintendent (South Dakota Conference); and Southwest District Superintendent.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 11, at 1:00 p.m., at Canyon Lake United Methodist Church. Visitation will be on January 11, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Canyon Lake United Methodist Church.

The family has requested a clergy choir. Any clergy who plan to sing in the choir should meet around noon for practice before the service. Contact CLUMC for details.
