Reverend Randolph (Randy) Cross, age 65, from Fargo, North Dakota, passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022. He was an ordained elder of the Dakotas Conference who retired in 2020.

Reverend Cross served the Dakotas Conference churches at: West Fargo Flame of Faith; Fairmount Bethany/Rosholt; Grand Forks Wesley; Fargo Faith; Rapid City First. He provided leadership to the Dakotas Conference as the Director of Leadership Development; Lower James District Superintendent/Director of Leadership Development and Connectional Ministries; Prairie Hills District Superintendent; and Northeast District Superintendent. Randy served The United Methodist Church in extension ministry at the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at Fargo First United Methodist Church in Fargo, North Dakota, at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, March 19, 2020. A visitation with the family will be held 9:00-10:15 a.m. at Fargo First United Methodist Church. The service will also be livestreamed on https://firstumcfargo.org/ and https://www.facebook.com/fargofirstumc/.

Memorials in honor of Randy can be provided for HOPE, Inc. or the Homeward Animal Shelter.
